PRESIDENT, C.E.O. AND FOUNDER
Bruce Baker
Bruce N Baker Jr provides vision and leadership, working collaboratively with individuals and organizations to support the entire Fitness-4-Downs (F4D) and down syndrome community. With a IAFS degree of Fitness science, a nutrition certification of completion from OT University, a national and international LMB and MLB professional baseball strength and conditioning coach, and with over a decade of experience in health and wellness. Bruce’s involvement in the down syndrome community first began as a local volunteer and advocate after his younger brother Bru daughter Adelasa was born with down syndrome. Bruce’s ambition and drive is to lead Fitness-4-Downs (F4D) with a focus on building community and keeping people with down syndrome at the center of everything the organization does. Bruce’s vision for the future of F4D includes resources, programs, and support for individuals with down syndrome and their families from birth to adulthood, with a special focus on fitness, public health, caregiving, and supporting foster children with special needs and aging adults.
VICE PRESIDENT
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Bernice Mosby
Bernice leads the creation of resources and programming to improve health and wellness for Fitness-4-Downs (F4D) and within the Down syndrome community. She is a current WNBA basketball player and she was first round draft pick with the Washington Mystics. She has played overseas in places such as China, Korea, Turkey and Spain. She graduated from Baylor University with a bachelors degree in science and education.
PASTORAL FAMILY COUNSELING SUPPORT
Janice Glover
Janice has served through the service of a Pastor for 35 years and she became an advocate for down syndrome when her granddaughter was born with severe down syndrome over 23 years ago. From that time she sought out ways to empower families with hope and support during tough times. Her experience and awareness is second to none when it comes to understanding the heart of mothers.
MANAGER OF SPECIAL EVENTS
Jennifer Brown
Jennifer leads efforts to create meaningful mission-focused fundraising, awareness, and engagement events for Fitness-4-Downs (F4D) and the down syndrome community. Utilizing her experience in event planning outreach called, “Noodles for College Students”, Jennifer develops and implements strategies and other events that raise awareness, engage our community, and support F4D.
BOARD TREASURER
Ramos Willams
Ramos graduated from ETC as an Accountant Operation. Ramos has been sworn in under oath to insure that the following critical facts and criteria is met by demand to ensure that democracy of Fitness-4-Downs (F4D) financial literacy is preserved and maintained in integrity of its institution.

Financial Management: The treasurer is responsible for managing the organization’s finances, including budgeting, financial planning, and making sure that the organization operates within its budgetary constraints.

Financial Reporting: The treasurer is responsible for presenting financial reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders including the organization’s income and expenses, assets and liabilities, and other financial performance indicators.

Internal Controls: The treasurer establishes proper internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets and prevent fraud or misuse of funds.

Compliance: The treasurer ensures that the non-profit is compliant with all relevant financial and accounting regulations, as well as legal requirements or reporting obligations specific to charitable organizations.

Banking and Investments: The treasurer manages the organization’s bank accounts and is often involved in decision-making related to investments, subject to the organization’s investment policy.

Fundraising and Grant Management: In some cases, the treasurer may be involved in fundraising and the management of grants and donations received by the non-profit.

Strategic Financial Planning: The treasurer collaborates with other board members to develop long-term financial strategies that align with the organization’s mission and goals.

Auditing and Review: The treasurer may be involved in annual audits or financial reviews to ensure the accuracy and transparency of the organization’s financial statements.
PUBLIC OUTREACH DIRECTOR
Savon Woods
Savon’s undivided attention, service to the public, and humanity for Fitness-4-Downs (F4D) is widely recognized through his tireless effort to create tangible connections with the down syndrome community. Savon has used his outgoing personality to build relationships on behalf of (F4D) through, “Can we have prayer phone calls” and (F4D) Youth church service. His goal is to be the voice for the voiceless by sharing heart warming messages and to continue inspiring the down syndrome community around the world.
TRANSPORTATION MISSION DRIVER
Will Brown
Will’s service goes over and beyond any truck driver dream, as a licensed CDL driver for over 10 years his commitment was felt when he answered the call to service Fitness-4-Down (F4D) by campaigning to commute every unfortunate down syndrome child and parent to and from our scheduled program in our (F4D) fitness van. His empathy and compassion to deliver each child to their parent like precious cargo in a timely manner safe and secure is unconditional and incomparable; “ it’s like riding on heavenly wheels”, our parents say!
