Resources & Support
F4D is committed to providing individuals with Down syndrome, their families, caregivers, and the public with information to support them from birth to end of life. Through events, videos, publications, and our website, F4D provides free resources on a variety of topics including health, wellness, education,and aging wellbeing wellness and information for new and expectant parents. Our platforms addresses the needs of teens and adults with practical resources and educational opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome, families, caregivers, and professionals. Through our helpline and info email, our staff responds to questions and connects individuals with Down syndrome, family members, professionals, and others with referrals to our network of local Down syndrome organizations.
Advocacy & Policy
F4D advocates for federal, state, and local policies and regulations that positively impact people with Down syndrome across the country and affirm their human rights. Through grassroots advocacy, F4D empowers community advocates to work with federal agencies, as well as state and local officials, to develop and improve policies and regulations for the benefit of the Down syndrome community. F4D further empowers individuals with Down syndrome, their families and other community members to influence policy including healthcare, education, employment, and economic self-sufficiency.
Community & Engagement
F4D community engagement events and activities celebrate our loved ones with Down syndrome, raise awareness among the public, and connect individuals and families within the community. Through our fitness program F4D supports individuals with Down syndrome in pursuing their dreams. We achieve this by partnering with the community to insure that the inclusion of people with Down syndrome reach across the globe by raising funds for local and national organizations that support the community. F4D hosts awareness and engagement events throughout the state of Florida including our Tampa Bay fitness walk and Tallahassee sports expo on the park Orlando basketball drama day, wide world of sports sport clinic and more.

We make our financial records available to the public, we report back to our supporters on their impact, and we strive to always make ethical choices in the best interest of our community base on the need.

Whether working internally as a team or with other organizations, we are always seeking new ways to implement and amplify the enhancement of our collective service to the community, we are open to new ideas and viewpoints, and we invite collaboration in all we do.
